Australian on laundering charge in London

A Sydney lady is standing trial in a London court billed with laundering hundreds of thousands of bucks, the alleged earnings of a substantial-course on-line prostitution operation. Larissa Miesnieks, 39, is accused of controlling prostitutes and Vancouver Canucks Jerseys laundering cash between 2006 and 2010, British newspaper The Every day Telegraph noted.

By her action in working the company, Larissa Miesnieks exercised some type of manage about some of the routines and we say she did so in expectation of funds. 
It is alleged that Miesnieks's financial advantage was some STG300,000 ($A450,000) and that  she knew or suspected that that was the proceeds of criminal carry out .
Miesnieks, who is believed to have been dependent in London but routinely visited Australia throughout the time in concern, denies the expenses.
